At the south end of Bondi Beach, Sydney, is the iconic Icebergs pool. Aaron was out again this weekend at a silly time to get this great shot.
A few weeks ago I was flying over Lake Eyre which was actually flooded at the time. Looked like an amazing place to take photos. Sydney-sider Murray Fredericks has been photographing the area since 2003 and his latest pictures are just beautiful. So simple but so stunning.
I'm not usually a fan of bugs, but in this case I'll make an exception. These great combinations of illustration and real flowers are from US photographer Kari Herer.
Wow it seems ages since I posted about new photography for sale on the creative monsoon site. Been so busy moving into the new house. My brother bought me some beautiful pink lilies as a house warming present and we photographed them today. Ive just finished this print this evening, perfect for brightening up a room. You can buy online at creative-monsoon.com and remember all prints come ready to frame with a white mat.
I had a go at Bokeh photography this weekend. It didnt really work the way I expected, but its still an interesting effect. Apparently I need to set the aperture to its lowest setting to get the proper effect, so Ill try again.
This is my favourite pic from a Christening shoot last weekend. Little guy got a real dunking :) For more events and portrait photography visit aaron green photography
Its been busy busy busy since we got back from the rock. Im still working through loads of stuff, took plenty of photos to work with. lots of inspiration, and I started my dot painting last night. Thought Id post a few pics from the trip.
We're back from the Outback. Its been a very busy but relaxing couple of weeks. Where to start? There are so many photos!
Well first off we spent some time in Adelaide with friends, their new baby Jacob and his big brother Josh. So Aaron got to work testing out his new camera. Awww.... aren't they cute :) You can see some more pics on Aarons blog.
It's been a VERY busy week here. A total redesign of a beauty magazine has taken up most of my time, but we still managed to make some more progress on the rock pool photography project. I'll let you know when the results are available for sale on creative monsoon.
We've been out early this weekend taking some photos of the local rock pools. The light was great and its made for some lovely images. Keep an eye on the creative monsoon site when the prints go for sale.
Last week the lovely sfgirlbybay was kind enough to feature some of my photos on her blog along with other peoples shots from all over the world taken on that Sunday.
Well I didn't think I'd have anything to submit this weekend, Mardi Gras kept us out till late on Saturday night and the weather looked a pretty gloomy today. But we went for a little drive to check out some rock pools for a future photo shoot and I made sure I had my camera phone.
This shot is Mahon Pool in Maroubra. It started to pour with rain as soon as we got there and walking along the grassy cliff top, wind howling and totally drenched, I felt a bit like a character lost on the moors in a Jane Austin novel (although I doubt women wore fluro beach towels over their heads in those days). But, I managed to get a couple of shots and I've had a play around with them this afternoon. I think there are some good ideas for future work.
